Explore: A Winter's Rain

Our second snow/ice event of the year hit today.  We avoided the snow but got hit with ice.  I love to see the soft glow of light beating down on ice covered branches.  Here are a few shots I captured in my yard.

A beautiful smile

Just standing there

A blank slate

She watches my every move

The love of my life

Nourish: Leigh's Maternity Session

From the moment that I knew about you,

I loved you.

For months I carried you under my heart.

Watching you grow,

And waiting for the day when I would finally meet you!

I had a great time capturing Leigh's last pregnancy and her adorable little boy Trice.  This was a very challenging session....the mom was on bed rest, was too exhausted to even put on make up or fix her hair, a simple shower wore her out. She still wanted to capture her last pregnancy and asked that I focus soley on her belly and to leave her face out of the pictures. I also had to work around her bed rest limitations. In the end I helped her with her hair and make up and she allowed me to snap a couple pictures of her beautiful face. I truly hope I was able to capture a special moment.  I can't wait to meet little Luke and photograph him!
