We had a great time spending the weekend with my family! My mom and step dad drove up from the coast on Thursday. My mom and I spent the evening doing some shopping. We scored some great finds at Baby Gap and even found mom a more stylish purse :). Somehow the "grandma" purse found a new home in my daughters collection of purses. On Friday I took mom and Bobby, along with Emma out to the Botanic Gardens. I parted ways and meet a bride for a bridal session while mom & Bobby took Emma around the gardens. Mom was in her zone. She took in every single plant, tree and shrub that she could see. After my bridal session, I attempted to try to get some portraits of Emma but after her very first all out meltdown, I called it quits! The photo's below is what I was able to quickly snap before we went into meltdown mode. We spent the evening with my Brother Dee and his family. I even got to meet my brand new great niece! Saturday morning my other Brother Steven came up with his family. I spent the majority of the afternoon with my niece Danica while we did her senior portraits. That evening more extended family stopped by and we caught the Ole Miss game :(. Sunday brought Halloween. Emma was a little lady bug and I still haven't quite figured out what Blake was. This was the first year Blake has trick or treated since he was 3 years old. He was a disappointed that he didn't get to trick or treat with Ethan but he went along anyway. The kid hates candy so he has always refused to go. This year he thinks he can sell the candy at school. It was like Christmas day to Emma. She had a Blast! After visiting each house she would stop in the middle of the road to dig through her bucket to see what new candy she got. The girl is a hot mess! We had a great weekend with family and was so glad to see everyone! Happy Halloween ya'll!
