Cherish: Thomas' Newborn Session

Introducing Thomas! He just turned 3 weeks old.  Thomas was a dream most of the session.  He slept the entire time and was super at keeping his legs, feet, arms and hands where I positioned them.  I love me some sleepy newborn photos!  I can tell he is going to be a big mommy's boy.  She had the gift at soothing him.  As soon as he heard her voice and felt her touch, he would settle right down.  Congrats Melissa and welcome to the CBP family!

Together Avery Sisters

It was such a pleasure working with these two sweetie pies.  Meet Alyssa and Tessa!  Alyssa is such a proud big sister and is so excited to celebrate her 4th birthday at a Cat and the Hat themed birthday party!  She had a blast telling me all about it.  Welcome to the CBP family Katrina!  It was a pleasure!

Cherish: Attalyn's Newborn Session

Introducing Attalyn!  She is just shy of two weeks old.  This little angel posed so well for her pictures and she LOVED my heater.  As long as the heater was on full blast and in front of her she was one happy little lady!  I think mom and dad has found the secret for her staying happy :).  Holly, it was a pleasure working with you guys!  Welcome to the CBP family!

Cherish: Eli's 3 Month Session

Eli is one of my adorable baby plan babies.  When mom emailed me to schedule his 3 month session, I could not believe how fast his first three months flew by!  I mean it was just yesterday that he was in the studio for his newborn session!  I was so thrilled to see him again.  He is as cute as ever and the apple of his mom and dad's eye!  They simply adore this little fella.  Stay sweet Eli, I look forward to seeing in 3 more months :)

Cherish: Alyssa's Newborn Portraits

Welcome Alyssa! This two week old beauty is the newest daughter of my friends Crystal and Bud. Isn't she BEAUTIFUL!!! We had the best session ever! She was just so sweet and slept the entire session, letting me position her any way I wanted. Her big sister Savannah is so proud of her. I even got her still long enough to capture some great photos of them together. Congratulations Crystal and Bud!

Together: Rakestraw Boys

Trice and Trevor are the precious boys of my bestie from my Ole Miss days! I have loved watching Trice become the little man he is today and am thrilled that little Trevor has come into their lives. Trevor is just 7 months younger than my daughter. We have always said that we would have babies together and I am so glad it finally worked out! Love these boys!

Cherish: Owen's Newborn Portraits

Welcome to this big world little Owen! This 5 week old little fella came in yesterday for his newborn portraits along with his proud big sister Kylee. He has got to be the most active 5 week old I have ever met! He is out to keep up with his big sister. There is no doubt that he will hit all of his milestones early, he is one eager beaver! Thanks so much for bring him in Kellie, it was a pleasure!

Together: Washburn Family

I was so blessed to be touched by so many amazing families this weekend.  I met/photographed 3 foster/adoptive families with the biggest hearts.  I felt so inspired by each of their stories.  This is one of those families.  The Washburn's just added sweet Kara to their family a month ago.  Mom and dad's love for this precious baby pours out of their soul.  The sparkle that mom has in her eye's every time she talks about Kara is undeniable.  Sweet baby Kara is totally in love with her new family as well.  She feels so secure in mom's arms and just lights up in her presence.  Kara, you are one beautiful and lucky little girl!  Congratulations to the Washburns!

Together: Yaligar Family

I had the pleasure of photographing the Yaligar family again!  I just LOVE this little boy.  Not only is he super cute but has the sweetest little personality.  He did SUPER the first half of our session and allowed me to capture some wonderful portraits of him playing and interacting with us.  His mom and dad are totally in love with him and who can blame them?!?!?
