Engaged: Lindsey & Jason

Lindsey and Jason are one of our lovely August couples who are getting married in three short weeks!  Jason is the head baseball coach of a community college in Oregon, while Lindsey is pursing her degree in nursing.  Jason drove across country to spend some time with his beautiful bride to be and we took this opportunity while they were together one last time before the wedding to capture a few engagement portraits.  Their charm did not disappoint!  The camera LOVES them!  We met up this past Sunday at a farm in Collierville which was the perfect setting for their country chic and vintage theme.  Lindsey brought along a rocking chair that her grandfather had given her mother when she was born along with a quilt belonging to her grandmother.  Jason had a few ideas of his own! He brought his bat, ball and glove!!!  I LOVE this couple and can NOT wait until their August 18th wedding!

Tully and Bennett are one of our many out of town couples who chose to unite in Memphis where the bride's family resides.  They had a beautiful intimate wedding at the Botanic Gardens where family and friends joined in the celebration of their love. 

Big thanks to Clarissa Sidhom with Vantage Media and Randy Williams for second shooting and helping me make it through a long wedding day with a broken tailbone among other things!  You guys rock!!!

A note from your photographer!

It is with much regret that I can not accept and new appointments or weddings until further notice.  For those of you who have standing appointments with me, I will be contacting you individually to discuss your options as your appointment approaches. 

I am undergoing a battery of medical test and am seeing a good number of physicians.  Any phone calls, texts or emails may be delayed in response and may be returned from a staff member.

This saddens my heart to put my business on hold.  This is my passion and my goal is to return to my business once this nightmare is over.  At this time, I must focus on my health and the remaining contracts that I have for weddings. 

I do not have an official diagnosis yet.  I hope to have some answers next week.  Now, to tell you all what is going on....I have a growth in the bone marrow within my tailbone that is causing it break and the spine surgeon suspects I might have one higher on my spine. I have also developed severe anemia.  I have undergone a battery of test to detect anything from Leukemia to Thyroid Cancer and will undergo a nuclear whole body bone scan and another MRI with and without contrast today. I hope to have some results in on Monday. I am thankful for such a wonderful support system. I am blessed to be surrounded by my wonderful family.  Right now my biggest need is prayers for good health, NO cancer, strength, comfort and pain relief.  Thanks for your continued support!
